Here are some fun little facts about the girl behind the camera.
*Before I took the leap and started my photography business years ago, I worked as a youth worker in group homes, ran a home childcare business and was an early childhood educator for the school board for 12 years (not all at the same time of course) I have an amazing knack for connecting with children. 90% of the time the kids are sad the session is over and asking when you all will do it again!
*I always try and see the best in people and find the positive in a difficult situation. There is ALWAYS a silver lining… it just may take a while to notice it!
*I truly believe that everything in this life happens for a reason... the good AND the bad. I always trust the universe and let it guide me. It has taken me to some amazing places!
*I found my brother on Kijiji... (if we work together, ask me about this. Its probably the coolest story you will ever hear!! I have never told it to someone without them getting teary eyed).
*I believe miracles happen to those who believe in them… (the point above about my brother is my proof)
*(Before we tragically lost my father in 2019 to cancer) My parents had been together since they were 13 years old. I am the youngest girl of 6 children. There is over 30 people in my immediate family. Gatherings can get real crazy but family is absolutely EVERYTHING to me.
*If I had a nickle for every time I have been told that "I have the patience of a saint"... I'd be a very rich lady!
I have experienced some great loss in this life but these tough times have only increased my passion and love for photography! Life can change in an instant and having memories to hold on to is important. I don’t want to just take your family photo… I want to capture your love and connection. I want you to be able to look at that photo down the road and FEEL it as well as see it! We never know when these photos will be all that we have and that is the scary truth I have experienced. I hope to have the opportunity to share my passion with you and capture some moments that captivate your heart for years to come!
